Artist Statement
When I first encountered the teachings of Ram Dass, it felt as though someone had finally given voice to the thoughts and questions that had quietly lived within me for a long time. His words became a mirror, a comfort, and a guide, opening a door to a way of living rooted in truth, love, and authenticity. Through him, I came to know Maharaji, whose love and presence live deeply in my heart.
Making malas has become a path of healing and one of the ways I connect with my true self. As I tie each knot, I chant or repeat a mantra, offering all to God with mindfulness and devotion.
Each mala is a companion for meditation, healing, and self-discovery. Through my work, I wish to share the love and peace I find in creating, and to connect with others walking their dharma, seeking beauty, healing, meaning, and spiritual growth.

About the Artist'
Cris is a jewelry artist, photographer, and seeker, drawn since childhood to the beauty of crystals and gemstones. After years working behind a computer, her life shifted through chronic pain, and deep healing work. This transition led her to immerse herself more fully in spiritual practices and handcrafting Japamalas as a way to go inwards, heal, and share love through her art.
Today, Cris weaves devotion and intention into every creation, working with natural gemstones and knotting practices. Each mala is infused with mantra, presence, and love, then cleansed and energized before being shared with the world. Through her work, Cris continues her journey of healing, growth, and heart-centered connection, encouraging others to walk the path of their own heart.
