“It’s a place where I feel at home with other people. I can be myself. I feel free.”
—Cornelia
These pledges will also help us to work towards our long-term goals:
-
Since the beginning, we have been a volunteer-run, grassroots organization. This spirit will never change.
Currently, we have one part-time contracted employee who helps us with media content and administrative tasks. This role is necessary so that our volunteers can continue to serve.
As our volunteer-run-organization continues to grow, we will need to expand our contractor hours to manage this. In addition, we see the need for a full-time executive director position.
Currently, our executive director volunteers his hours. A few larger and longer-term pledges or grants could help us create a sustainable executive director position that could steward our organization’s health and growth into the long-term future.

“SCP is a fabulous organization run by a beautiful soul, Sitaram Dass. Great projects have been successfully created and implemented that have positively affected many lives. I love how SCP earnestly shares Ram Dass's teachings and life work.”
—Dassi Ma (President, Hanuman Maui)
“Satsang hangs have been the wind to my sail, I wouldn’t trade it for anything.”
—Danny
Budget
Our 2026 expense budget totals $40,000 and is divided between our three service categories: Community, Outreach, and Education. You can find a breakdown of these categories and their associated activities in the Impact Report above.
Revenue
This chart shows our 2025 revenue streams, which totaled $43,000. For 2026, we plan to continue increasing our events and media revenue, however, due to the sliding-scale and donation-based nature of our offerings, we require continued tax-deductible pledges, grants, and donations so we can continue to lower the barriers of access to our offerings, expand our prison outreach, and steward our organization’s growth.
“[The SCP retreat] has brought me much joy and even deeper belief in my spiritual practices.”
—Jackie
