Lama Atisha Dipamkara (982–1054)

Lamrim is a special set of instructions that includes all the essential teachings of the Buddha. It was compiled by the great Indian Buddhist Master Atisha, who was invited to Tibet by King Jangchub Ö in AD 1042, and who spent the rest of his life there spreading pure Dharma.

There are 21 Lamrim meditations, which are usually practiced in a three-week cycle as a daily meditation practice.

In this three-hour workshop, we will introduce the basics of Lamrim practice, going through all 21 aspects of the practice to give an embodied understanding of the value of Lamrim. The aim of this introduction is to give the practitioner an immediate benefit, an encouragement to explore more deeply, and a basis for starting to integrate this practice into your life.  More info about Lamrim below.
